La Fabrique Font Family
Coinciding with the commission we created La Fabrique, a heavy sans-serif typeface. The process of production of drawing the typeface was separated in four distinct stages and the restricted decisions made into a visible path. This was documented via two mediums, a set of four A0 serigraph posters, and a small 12-page specimen. This restrictive iterative process, was used to visually document a normally ephemeral and invisible process. The result was shown at La Fabrique, Chaumont, France in 2012.

Municipal Cast Font
We found most of our typographic reference right under our noses, but we never thought to look under our feet until our own Ken Barber developed a latent appreciation for the manhole covers he was stealing. Municipal Cast’s sturdy slab serif construction and confident voice was inspired by the backbreaking work of prying heavy those heavy cast iron discs out of the roadway, making it the ideal choice for commanding headlines, brawny logos, industrial-strength advertisements and wanted posters for public nuisance crimes. Whether you’re running a blast furnace, a metropolitan beard cuttery or simply looking to add a little muscle to your layouts, it’s tough to ignore the clarity, punch and weight of Municipal Cast.

The character set supports most European languages and contains ligatures as well as symbols, figures and alternative characters. Its strength is in a simplicity and format; recommended for use in headlines or short sentences. Ponzastura typeface can fill in a gap of high-contrasted fonts of nowadays

Lelo Font Family
Lelo is a simple geometric sans serif typeface with roots in the early twentieth century grotesques. Some hints still show the typefaces origin begun as monospaced typewriter font. Letter Gothic being a strong influence. Lelo’s pointy endings in V, W, N and M formally oppose the main character of very round shaped geometrical letters, giving the typeface its original twist. Lelo comes in 6 weights in roman and italic.
